Drybar On The Rocks – Shampoo and Conditioner Review
I have to say, this is a summer favorite. Drybar’s On the Rocks is a clarifying charcoal system to remove buildup on the hair, commonly caused by repeated products, excessive oil production, chlorine from swimming in pools, or other hard minerals from water. This shampoo and conditioner can be used on all hair types.
On The Rocks Shampoo
Not only is the On The Rocks shampoo sulfate and cruelty free, but it uses activated charcoal to absorb impurities. Vegetable proteins in the formula also strengthen and reinforce chemically treated or damaged hair. All while smelling delightful with a noir fragrance of notes of ginger, mint, and sandalwood.
On The Rocks Conditioner
The On The Rocks Conditioner contains coriander that seals and smooths the cuticle to boost shine, and macadamia nut oil that hydrates while detangling and reducing frizz. The added reinforcements of the conditioner also replenish the necessary hydrators taken from the cleansing power of the shampoo. Therefor I found I really like using them together.
I’ve been using this Drybar On The Rocks shampoo and conditioner combo for about 3 months and noticed a cleaner feel and better manageability in my hair. The only downside to the cleansing strength of the shampoo is that it greatly faded my color, which I personally didn’t mind, but could be an issue for someone who gets regular semi, temporary, or other fragile hair color.
