My PM Skincare Routine using The Ordinary – The Ordinary Product Review

Recently I have discovered and been loving The Ordinary’s skincare products. It started with a few recommendations from friends and spiraled from there. Now, I have developed my entire PM Skincare Routine entirely from the brand. Here is my routine:

After cleansing and patting dry, I begin with

Glycolic Toner

I use The Ordinary’s Glycolic toner on a cotton ball and swipe all over my face, concentrating on my most break-out prone area. This helps to promote cell turnover and heal the skin quickly, while also promoting anti-aging. I began using this during pandemic-mask-season to keep my skin clear. However I cannot use this product daily because my skin is sensitive and it is a big aggressive. I recommend 2-3 times per week if you are like me.

Caffeine Solution

I massage The Ordinary’s Caffeine Solution into my under eye area to reduce puffiness and dark circles. This product is an instant refresh and wake-up and I have certainly noticed a difference since using it. It also works to firm the skin against fine lines.

The “Buffet” + Copper Peptides

The Ordinary’s Buffet is my attempt to reverse the damage of years of sun bathing. This pat this anti-aging solution all over my face and massage into my forehead and wrinkle-prone areas to keep my skin firm and fight against aging. It is also gentle enough to be used daily and does not irritate my skin at all.

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

The Ordinary’s moisturizer, Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is a very basic moisturizer that provides solely hydration without too many other added ingredients. My sensitive and eczema prone skin has taken well to it since using and I am able to layer it with many other products. It also sets into the face well and is non-greasy!

Rose Hip Seed Oil

I have been LOVING The Ordinary’s Rose Hip Seed Oil as an additive to my moisturizer in the PM, or a stand alone moisture base in the afternoons for a quick cleanse. It coats the skin in a lightweight oil to add hydration, and I also love the smell. Overtime it helps to improve moisture balance and soften skin.
